Interesting photo. Was there some photoshopping involved or was this an as-is pic?
Totally a lucky shot as it happened. Believe me, it would be glaringly obvious to even the most inexperienced eye had I tried to manipulate it. My ‘ shop skills are nowhere near this good. Taken yesterday afternoon from Municipal Pier, looking at the Water Treatment Plant. Glad you like it
I read your blog daily. This is the best photo I’ve seen, really grabbed my eye. Have you thought of submitting it to a magazine? It looks rather Rockwell-ian.

I shared it with my photo class last night and will be including it in our photo show at the conclusion of class. I don’t know what kind of magazine I would submit this to, but I am going to look into what it takes to enter a photo in the county fair. The Rockwell-ian comparison has been suggested by others and also mentioned as part of the reason why it looks fake.
